Jury

 

For the 30 years Branka Sömen completely dedicated to film industry, either as a journalist, critic and publicist. Also works as an organizer, director and artistic consultant for the Festival in Pula, and for a while worked as a consultant to the Croatian Minister of Culture.

She was a regularly a guest-journalist at film festivals in Berlin, Cannes, Venice, San Sebastian etc. From 1986. until 2004. she reported from American Academy Award ceremony in Los Angeles. In 1994 received "The Golden Pen" award as the best journalist in Croatia. From 2005. until 2010. she worked as a diplomat, Consul Counselor for the Culture at Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia in Los Angeles.


Milena Zupančič (born in 1946) is a Slovenian actress.Her first major appearances were two roles in films by Matjaž Klopčič, in Blossoms in Autumn (Cvetje v jeseni; 1973) and The Widowhood of Karolina Žašler (1976).

She went on to star in a number of important film and television productions over the next four decades, winning two Golden Arena for Best Actress awards (in 1976 and 1977) and the Prešeren Award for Lifetime Achievement (1993). She is also known for starring in many theatre productions staged by the Ljubljana National Drama Theatre. From 2000 to 2011 she was UNICEF regional ambassador for the Western Balkans.

 

Daniel Rafaelić (Bitola, Macedonia, 1977) is a film historian and a film critic. He is the author of publicist bestseller „Film production of ICS" (2013)., and an award-winning writer and di- rector of the documentary film"The other side of Welles" (2005th). Rafaelic is the PhD of a Study of Modern and Contemporary History at the Philosophical faculty in Zagreb where he teaches in the departments of history, archeology and psychology.

At the University of Manchester he is studying Egyptian Studies. Rafaelic was the resident of the FIPRESCI jury at festivals in Cairo (2009.) Moscow (2010)., and a member of the jury in Bratislava (2006.) and Split (2012).
